Event Details

Good communication between patients, co-survivors and their health care providers ensures that patient voices are heard and treatment decisions reflect what matters most to them. But, people need information, preparation and skills to help them tell their stories and express their values and preferences. This interactive workshop focuses on storytelling as a way of helping people to communicate with their providers. It will also explore methods of good storytelling in your everyday life- ranging from blogs to poetry to memoirs.
