H. Irene Su
Irene Su is a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Diego. She is a reproductive endocrinologist and epidemiologist who conducts patient oriented research on reproductive health outcomes in young female cancer survivors. Her group has characterized the unmet fertility, contraception and pregnancy health informational needs of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors, estimated the trajectory of ovarian function after cancer treatment, and developed a multi-dimensional scale to measure the breadth of reproductive concerns after cancer (Reproductive Concerns After Cancer scale). Clinically, she directs the Oncofertility program at UC San Diego, which provides reproductive health care throughout the cancer care continuum.
